About Dang Foods
Dang Foods is forging ahead to bring unconventional culinary delights from around the globe to the U.S. Market. Founder Vincent Kitirattragarn was featured this year as one of Forbes 30 under 30. Dang was also recognized by NewHope360 as one of 10 brands to watch in 2014. The company is named after Vincent's Mother who grew up eating food from some of the best chefs in the world: Bangkok's street vendors. One day, she passed on her recipe for Thai Lettuce Wraps to Vincent who found himself involuntarily snacking on one of the key ingredients--Toasted Coconut. It had a strong, sweet aroma and a very satisfying crunch. He immediately called his family, who has been importing goods to the US for more than 30 years. With that, Dang was born. Dang is available in more than 4,000 stores nationwide including Whole Foods, Safeway, Sprouts, The Fresh Market, Kroger and H-E-B.
