SEMPO Boston, in partnership with Google, Inc., announce local free student summit to help expose students to the search-marketing industry. The one-day conference will be held at Boston University on February 22, 2013 from 10AM-4PM in the Boston University School of Management building.
The summit will feature educational presentations, workshops, and panels composed of leading national and local professionals. Students will learn about the landscape, business, future and potential careers that are tied to search and digital marketing.
The schedule for the event will begin with a keynote address from various professionals in the industry, followed by a career panel discussion from recent university graduates, a networking luncheon and conclude with afternoon breakout sessions on SEO, SEM and social.
“We hope this event at Boston University will be the first of many that will occur at campuses throughout the country as we align students with good jobs and fuel the growth the search industry” said the President of Exclusive Concepts, Inc. and Chair of SEMPO Boston Working Group, Scott Smigler.
It is anticipated that this event will help to grow and strengthen the search-marketing ecosystem by advocating to the best and brightest college students throughout the world.
