New Age Media of Tallahassee is looking for a Website & Social Media Coordinator. We're seeking someone who knows, understands, and loves television, the web, and social media.

Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain webpages
  • Proficiency with  HTML, XML and Java
  • Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, PhotoShop and Flash
  • Manage social media including Facebook and Twitter
  • Ability to develop creative social media strategies and execute new and compelling marketing tactics that resonate with the target audience to achieve network and client campaign goals.

The Web and Social Media Coordinator will oversee all aspects of  including but not limited to creating custom graphics and content, maintaining daily updates, trafficking ads, and uploading video. Candidate will research, plan and implement initiatives to advance the station image through participation in web-based social media. Candidate will work directly with sales, production, and promotions departments. Duties include designing ads and sales-related websites, help manage contests, put together giveaways and other promotions, and update the community events calendar.

Desired Skills & Experience:
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Candidate must possess strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize responsibilities and projects.

Work Experience: 2-4 years of work experience, preferably at a consumer marketing agency, public relations, advertising, digital promotions, or an interactive/new media agency. 

BA or BS degree in Media, Marketing, or Communications or equivalent work experience.
