In addition to art, guests can enjoy food from local downtown restaurants, street food vendors, music and children’s activities. A promising first this year will be the “Battle of the Best Wings In Pinellas County,” which will be held Saturday, December 1st – judging begins at 2:00 pm.
The festival was founded by Louise and Bill Hoskins and a visual arts scholarship is awarded to a local high school student in their honor. Some of the proceeds from the festival will go towards that scholarship.
With over 300 local employees, NTC has reinforced its community involvement by a more active role in chamber.
“Participation in organizations like the chambers of commerce is a valuable way for a business to have a positive impact on the community,” commented John Hillman, CEO of NTC.
To strengthen its presence in the local community, NTC hired Community Relations Director Janice Rush, whose main responsibility is to forge community relations in Tampa Bay on behalf of NTC and help the area become a better place to work and live for its employees.
