(CANVAS STAFF REPORTS) - Spokane (Wash.) County sheriff's deputies found nearly $26,000 in a woman's bra when she was booked into jail on a theft charge, reported KXLY-TV .
According to the report, Lukeisha A. Harris was one of three Seattle-area residents caught in an investigation of an alleged fraud ring. Deputies claimed the three used counterfeit credit cards to get cash advances from Spokane, Wash., banks.
Spokane County jail guards found the money while searching Harris, 24, who is 6 feet tall and weighs 400 pounds, reported The Associated Press. There were also bank receipts.
In February, in a similar case, police in Tennessee allegedly found $890 in cash and two bags of marijuana in the left side of a female suspect's bra, according to the Kingsport (Tenn.) Times News .
The Limestone, Tenn., woman and her husband were arrested on felony drug charges as police confiscated marijuana, pills and more than $3,000 in cash. The right side of her bra allegedly contained a bottle of Xanax.
Jessica Lawson, 29, was asked to leave the vehicle after her husband Brock Lawson was stopped as police responded to a report of a possibly intoxicated driver, the Times News reported.
Police had found the suspicious objects in her bra while patting her down. A pouch containing $825 and a plastic bag containing $65 were allegedly found with the baggies of marijuana.
